Junior Reading Club:

Inspired by the mother of our students, we decided to create a book club designated for young children, to give them the opportunity to have the essential support needed in reading and understanding the books in English.
I love children’s books and believe that they can be a great vehicle for increasing vocabulary, improving fluency, increasing cultural literacy, and prompting discussion.

Classes

Learning the English language is very important, especially if you are doing business with foreign partners, if you want to get a decent job, or if you want to tour abroad. Being able to speak English will give you a great advantage, as it’s one of the most popular languages spoken internationally.

Learning English as a second language (ESL) is not always easy, but it should be fun.

“Language is the road map of a culture.  It tells you where its people come from and where they are going.”

“Learning a foreign language not only reveals how other societies think and feel, what they have experienced and value, and how they express themselves, it also provides a cultural mirror in which we can more clearly see our own society.”

Conversation Lab

One of the best ways to improve communication skills is to become familiar with the language by reading, building vocabulary, and discussing what you study in daily conversations. Too often, ESL students spend time reading about topics that they normally wouldn't use in daily conversation. Faculty and tutors lead an open discussion designed for students wishing to engage in dialogue for the purpose of strengthening their English comprehension and verbal skills. Everyday conversational skills emphasized in a friendly, informal gathering of ESL students.Topics of conversation include daily life and activities, cross-cultural communication, cultural assimilation, and college and community experiences relevant to non-native speakers.
